Biography
Dr. Slump
Akira was shown to be good friends with Senbei Norimaki as he asked him for help in "The Time Stopper". He also was behind the reason why Midori Yamabuki married Senbei.
Manga
Akira appeared in "The Fusion Succeeds...?" and asked not to be paid for having the same image of Goten and Trunks fusing used twice in the same chapter.
Anime
Dragon Ball
Akira could be seen in hanging onto a tree while Bulma Brief and Son Goku are walking to the beach in "The Turtle Hermit's Kinto Un". In the Japanese dub, he mumbles, "Penguin Village... this is not".
In the scene at the Brown County Saloon in "Look out for Launch", a wanted poster showed Akira as one of the criminals who had already been captured. He also had the lowest bounty, possibly being comic relief.
Dragon Ball Z
Akira appeared in the crowd of fighters watching Goku fight against Pikkon.
Akira appeared in "Forfeit of Piccolo".
Dragon Ball GT
Akira appeared in yellow and green on a shaving kit Vegeta bought in "The Attack on Vegeta".
Films
Akira appears at the bottom of the screen when Son Goten talks about what he wants to wish for in Dragon Ball Z: Broly: Second Coming.
Akira was seen as an icon on Son Gohan's computer along with Neko Majin Z in Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!.
Akira appeared in the background of one scene at the zoo in Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon.
