Wayan Budhiyasa (ワヤン ブディヤサ, Wayan Budiyasa; Viz "Budhiyasa") is a Bali tour guide in the real world who met Toriyama during his trip to the island.
Biography[edit]
Wayan Budhiyasa appeared in the manga and the anime as part of a crowd. Hints to his real identity could be seen printed on the sleeve of his shirt and the briefcase Muten Roshi was carrying. These details were absent in the anime.
During an interview, Toriyama mentioned him as his "Bali Friend" and introduced him by name, a direct clue to the identity of the, until then, anonymous character.
