The Shut Down Remote is a device that Doctor Gero creates to shut down Artificial Human No. 17 and Artificial Human No. 18 in case of a rebellion.

History

After the Artificial Humans' mutiny and the destruction of the Shut Down Remote, Bulma Brief and Dr. Brief used the schematics retrieved by Future Trunks Brief and Kuririn to construct a new device. Upon completion, Kuririn was to use it to shut down No. 18. Due to his infatuation with her, however, he was unable to go through with it and instead destroyed the new Shut Down Remote to give her a chance to escape.

Bulma stated that the holder had to be within ten meters of the target for the Shut Down Remote to be effective.
