The Son family is the main family in the Dragon Ball franchise.
History
The Son family consisted of six known members plus extended family and an unspecified number of unnamed members. Son Goku was the first member of the Son family to be introduced in the series. Unlike most associated characters, the Son family did not have a theme of naming. The Sons were noted as a family from Mount Paozu in the series. The family name was placed in front of the individual's name, supporting the fact that the Sons were an Eastern family. Furthermore, the Sons tended to wear traditional Asian-styled garbs.
