Bongo (film character)

Bongo (ボンゴ, Bongo; FUNimation "Bongo") is a big brute hired by King Gurumes to find the Dragon Balls in exchange for Blood Rubies.

Biography

Bongo led the king's army to tear up the Land of Gurumes and dig up all the Blood Rubies. He and his partner, Pasta, came to Mount Paozu and took the Four-Star Ball from Son Goku's House and left behind a gold coin in place of the Dragon Ball. Son Goku and Bulma Brief ended up seeing them blast off in their jet and chased them in Bulma's jet. Bongo drove the jet as Raven came out and shot their jet down with a rocket launcher.

When Goku and his friends appeared at the castle, Bongo ended up fighting Goku while riding a flying disc. Goku ended up destroying his flying disc and caused Bongo to fall into the castle, dragging Goku with him. The two ended up bringing their fight into Gurumes' throne room where Bongo was crushed by Gurumes, who had just mutated further into an obese horror with a virtually unsatisfiable appetite. Bongo was last seen when Raven picked him up after he had been squished flat.
