Neko Majin (race)

The Neko Majins (ネコ マジン, Neko Majin; Literally meaning "Cat Genie") are a race from Planet Earth.
Appearance
Neko Majins are generally heavy set, have round bodies, and slanted eyes. Neko Majins look a lot like Majin Boo, although there is no relation. Neko Majins come in all different colors and fur patterns like actual Cats do. Most Neko Majins are the height of the average Human child. (Son Goku and others are seen looking down at his Neko Majin disciple, Neko Majin.)
History
Neko Majins appeared in Akira Toriyama's comedy one-shots Neko Majin and Neko Majin Z. They were a race of magical Cats who enjoyed martial arts, practiced magic, and pulled pranks. It was revealed that there were only 28 Neko Majins (two being Neko Majin and Usagi Majin) on Planet Earth, making them extremely rare creatures.
Like Oolong and Puar, two other notable shapeshifters in the Dragon Ball franchise, Neko Majins lived in a similar fashion as other Earthlings. They communicated verbally, wore clothing, owned pets, accepted currency, and even practiced advanced martial arts. On the cover of a Neko Majin volume, a Neko Majin can be seen riding in a helicoptor, while the Neko Majin protagonist flew alongside.
A Neko Dama was a Neko Majin's source of power, and Usagi Majin proclaimed to have stolen every other Neko Dama (except Neko Majin's) around Planet Earth. This had made him the strongest Neko Majin with the possession of twenty-seven Neko Damas. It is unknown how Neko Majins functioned without their power source.
Power
Very little is known about the Neko Majins' natural powers besides the ability to transform. The protagonist of Neko Majin Z uses the Nekohameha – a self-created version of the Kamehameha – indicating that he can not only control his ki, but mimic and alter techniques after witnessing them. Neko Majin once again performs this feat during battle against Onio. Neko Majin witnesses Onio transform into a Super Saiyan and then transformed into what he boasted as is a Super Neko Majin, which granted him the power necessary to defeat Super Saiyan Onio. Usagi Majin claimed he was the strongest Neko Majin, with the possession of 27 Neko Damas, though his power was never truly witnessed.
Super Neko Majin
The protagonist of Neko Majin Z is able to undergo the Super Neko Majin transformation, much to his own amazement. Neko Majin stated that in this form, he was absorbing more power than before. It is never explained what this means, though before Super Saiyan Onio could boast this, Neko Majin was still too weak to defeat him, the difference in power shifting drastically. To some, the transformation is though to be a direct parody of the Super Saiyan transformation, however, the shading of Neko Majin's fur suggests that the color did not change and the aura color is unknown due to it being a manga-only appearance. It is unknown if all Neko Majins can transform into Super Neko Majins.
