Biography

Dragon Ball Z

An older Bee

Bee made his first appearance as a wounded Labrador Retriever puppy who Fat Boo encountered in "I Kill No More". Fat Boo healed the Dog and became his friend. Soon after, even Mister Satan befriended the puppy. While playing catch with Fat Boo, the anarchist Van Zant arrived and shot Bee. Fat Boo's attempt to revive Bee was a success, but he lost himself in his rage when the assailant later shot Satan as well. This caused Fat Boo to become literally "steaming mad" and through this steam escaped his violent persona, Evil Boo.

At the climax of the Majin Buu Saga, Bee and Satan encountered Son Gohan, Piccolo, Son Goten, Trunks Brief, and Super Boo. During this time, the usually ridiculous personality of Satan subsided in favor of a more caring side of the martial artist as he made sure that Bee was safe from Vegetto's conflict with Super Boo.

Bee's final appearances in the series was in the last three episodes of Dragon Ball Z where he had aged significantly, now being placed at around 10 years of age or so. After the conclusion of Dragon Ball Z, Bee continued to live with Satan and Mister Boo.

Dragon Ball GT

Bee's lack of appearance in Dragon Ball GT has been reasoned by two possibilities. The first explanation may be that Bee passed away in the five year gap between DBZ and DBGT as the dog was already very old in Dragon Ball Z's final three episodes and large breed dogs living to the age of 15 is relatively rare in the real word, but may of course be different in Dragon Ball. The second possibility may be that Bee simply spent the entirety of DBGT in Satan's home except for when Son Goku transported Planet Earth's population to Planet Plant prior to the destruction of Planet Earth (in which case, he was with Satan on Planet Plant). Also, while he did not physically appear during Dragon Ball GT, Bee did appear in promotional artwork for the series where he was pictured alongside Satan and Mister Boo following Pilaf's wish that reverted Goku's body to a child. He also appeared in the 3rd ending of DBGT in the ending group shot featuring the supporting and major cast of the series that had played some type of role at some point in the series. These two minor appearances could indicate that Bee was possibly still alive, but not featured.
