Cell's Genki Dama (セル の 元気 玉, Seru no Genki Dama) is an energy sphere attack used by Future Cell. Future Cell raises his hands in the air and gathers energy from surrounding life forms to form the attack. Next, he forms the energy into a giant greenish-blue sphere of energy in the sky. Finally, Future Cell throws it down at his opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

History[edit]

Dragon Ball Z[edit]

In both the anime and the manga, Imperfect Cell claimed to Piccolo, Kuririn, and Future Trunks Brief that he could perform the Genki Dama. It was believed to be a bluff as Future Cell was not pure hearted. Another possibility was that Future Cell could perform the move (either because he was pure evil or because he was made from cells of Son Goku), but chose not to simply because of how long it would take to gather the energy.

Video games[edit]

It is named Spirit Bomb in several video games and is Future Cell's ultimate attack.

It appeared in the Budokai video game series and is Future Cell's ultimate attack in his Perfect Form. Future Cell says, "Okay Planet give me that Stupid Energy" while charging the Genki Dama. He uses the Genki Dama in combination with the first part of his Perfect Combination and an elbow, which sends his opponent onto the ground while Future Cell charges the Genki Dama. It has a greenish-blue glow.

It later appeared in in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and is Future Cell's ultimate attack in his Super Perfect form. It has the typical blue/white glow (similiar to the normal Genki Dama color).

Cell's Genki Dama looks equal in size to the Large Genki Dama.
