The Gigantic Spike (ギガンティック スパイク; Gigantikku Supaiku) is a rush attack used by Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan form.

Usage[edit]

Legendary Super Saiyan Broly kicks his opponent into the air from below and teleports up to them. He then grabs his opponent's head and flies down to the ground as he spin pile-drives his opponent head first into the ground, resulting in an earthquake and inflicting massive damage.

Legendary Super Saiyan Broly used this attack in his battle against Son Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form in Dragon Ball Z: Broly: Second Coming. Super Saiyan 2 Gohan flew up to Legendary Super Saiyan Broly and punched him in the face, though he was unfazed and retaliated by punching Super Saiyan 2 Gohan away. Legendary Super Saiyan Broly then flew after Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and attacked him with the Gigantic Spike, causing the ground to collapse and fall down into the lava. Super Saiyan 2 Gohan soon escaped from Legendary Super Saiyan Broly's grip, however, when he kicked him away and continued to fight against him.

Gigantic Spike is named in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 and is one of Broly's attacks in his Legendary Super Saiyan form.
