The Gyaku Kamehameha (逆 かめはめ波, Gyaku Kamehameha; Literally meaning "Reverse Turtle Destruction Wave") is an energy wave attack.
Usage[edit]
The user fires a Kamehameha directly at the ground which propels them up through the air in a jet-like manner. The technique is mainly used as a way to change directions quickly, remain airborne longer, or to fly through the air quickly, all of which apply for non-fliers.
History[edit]
Turtle Hermit used this technique as Jackie Chun in his match against Kuririn at the 21st Tenkaichi Tournament.
Son Goku used this technique during his match against Tenshinhan at the 22nd Tenkaichi Tournament and later in the final battle against Piccolo Daimao.
Son Goten used this technique in the form of a hand-stand in his match against Trunks Brief at the 25th Tenkaichi Tournament while using the Assault! rush.
Video games[edit]
Gyaku Kamehameha is named in Dragon Ball Z: Sūpā Gokū Den: Totsugeki Hen.
