Dragon Ball Z: Broly: Second Coming
Maloja appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Broly: Second Coming. After all other options had been tried with no success, he came up with the idea to sacrifice a villager once a year to protect Natade Village from a monster. Son Goten, Son Videl, and Trunks Brief arrived at Natade Village and defeated the monster, a Dinosaur, in exchange for Maloja's necklace.
Dragon Ball Z: Bio Broly
Maloja appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Bio Broly. It was revealed that he had been kicked out of Natade Village after the monster had been defeated. Before he left the area for good, he took some of Broly's Blood that was frozen in the crater that Broly had crashed into and brought it to Jaguar knowing that he would pay any price for it. Jaguar used the blood sample to create a clone of Broly, a super Biowarrior named Bio Broly. When Bio Broly broke out of his tank, however, it released the Culture Fluid which swallowed up most of the Biowarrior and scientists. It was implied in the film that, while in Jaguar's service, Maloja had planned on scamming him as when the Biowarriors were being defeated and Jaguar demanded the reason as to why the Bio-Warriors were losing pathetically, he had a worried expression and thought, "Uh oh, this isn't good" and tried to find a way to sneak away from Jaguar. When Maloja finished stealing all of Jaguar's money, he turned around to make his escape, but died at that instant due to the Culture Fluid eating him.
