Directory: Techniques
The Spirit Breaking Cannon (スピリット ブレイク キャノン, Supiritto Bureiku Kyanon) is one of Vegeta's physical techniques in his Ascended Super Saiyan form. First, Vegeta punches the opponent, then kicks him upwards. Then, Vegeta quickly rushes upward from below, kicking the opponent brutally in the stomach. Finally, he elbows the opponent downwards, inflicitng massive damage. In Dragon Ball: Raging Blast and Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2, the move was changed to a counter attack.
Trivia
- Most of the attacks performed in this technique are taken from Super Vegeta's fight with Semi-Perfect Cell.
- In the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series, Vegeta can also use this attack in his Super Saiyan 4 form.
- The attack is slightly changed in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 since its appearence in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. In Budokai Tenkaichi 2, there is an extra bit to it after Vegeta elbows his opponent down. This extra bit involves the opponent landing on the ground followed by Vegeta charging down at them violently and delivering a devastating stomp to their mid-section, inflicting a lot of damage. He then picks up the opponent by their leg and throws them away to a long distance. This extra bit was taken away in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for unknown reasons.
