DBGT Episode 33

The Tail's Tale is the eighteenth episode of the Baby Saga and the thirty-third overall episode of Dragon Ball GT. The original Japanese title is "Kurae Bebi!! Shinsei Ubu hissatsu kosen!!" (くらえベビー!新生ウーブ必殺光線!!). The episode first aired on January 15, 1997. It's original American air date was May 15, 2004.

Summary

After the recap we find out that the Kai's are still trying to pull Goku's tail out, but Goku senses that Uub has changed, so he asks the others to look at the viewing globe. They inform him that Uub has become Majuub, and then Elder Kai has Goku get tied up by Sugoro so that Goku can't move. Then they recommence the tail pulling exercises.

Baby informs everyone that they might want to find a hiding place, and then he and Majuub begin fighting. Majuub decides to pull out all the stops right away, so he fires a beam which turns everyone around him into chocolate. Majuub promises to turn everyone back when he's done fighting Baby, and then they attack again.

On the planet of the Kai's, Goku figures out a way to stretch out his tail. He has Elder Kai get tied to the rock, and then he powers up and flies upward, allowing his tail to be pulled out. With his tail out, Kibito Kai transports Goku to the Tuffel Planet to fight.

Goku arrives, but it's just in time to see Baby turn Majuub's own attack against him. Majuub gets turned into chocolate, and Baby eats him. He then targets Goku. Goku powers up to Super Saiyan 3, which he's now able to maintain, but Baby uses Goku's tail as another weapon and defeats him.

With Goku being down for the count, he's forced to look at the Earth. Goku desires to help the Earth, and then he begins to transform. He becomes a Giant Ape that is Golden in color (much like that of a Super Saiyan), and he begins to attack Baby, but can Goku control his new found power? Find out on the next GT.

Back on the Tuffle planet, Majuub creates a giant energy wave and aims it at Baby. After a long struggle, Baby is able to deflect the wave back at Majuub, turning him into chocolate, which Baby eats. Goku arrives and powers up to Super Saiyan 3. But even with his tail back, he doesn't seem to have gained any strength. Baby knocks him to the ground and prepares to deliver the final blow, when Goku looks up at the earth.
