Dore in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge

Dore (ドーレ, Dōre; FUNimation "Dore") is a member of the Coola Armored Corps.

Akin to all Dragon Ball series characters, Doore and the names of his fellow henchmen are derived from puns – in this case, condiments and salad dressings. His own name was lifted from Saradore dressing.

He is of the same race as Rippā and Sōi.

Appearance

Dore is long-haired, always seen with a helmet, and vaguely "Hulk"-like.

Biography

Dore accompanied Coola along with the rest of his team to Planet Earth in the hunt for the Saiyan who had defeated Freeza. Dore was from Planet Cooler No. 256 (formally Planet Beppa). Because the continents of his homeworld were surrounded by lava, he had an extremely tough body. He used that physique to become a wrestler in the Galactic Pro Wrestling League. He was undefeated in 300 matches, but he killed all of his opponents during their matches. He had a blood-thirsty personality. He is named after dressing and his homeworld is named after pepper.[2]

Doore appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge. He and the others were ordered to find Son Goku so that Cooler could acquire vengeance in accordance to Freeza's failure. Finding Son Gohan, he grabbed his tail thinking he was Goku. Later, he appeared to attack Gohan and this ensued a fight between himself and Piccolo, who soon thereafter killed Doore with a homing Ki Blast as Doore tried to chase Gohan to kill him.

Apparently, Doore did not know (or at least forgot) that Planet Namek had been destroyed until he met Piccolo, as he asked why [Piccolo] was not on his homeworld where he belonged, to which Neiz reminded him that Freeza had blown it up.

Video games

Although Doore made his debut as a playable character in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2, Cooler is able to summon Doore to fire energy blasts at his opponent in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2.
