Neiz in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge

Naise (ネイズ, Neizu; FUNimation "Neiz") is a member of Cooler's Armored Squadron.

Naise's Japanese name is a pun on the word Mayonēzu, or Mayonnaise in English.

Appearance

Naise is a brown, humanoid, reptilian-like alien who can hide his head within his shoulders in order to dodge blasts.

Biography

Naise was from Planet Cooler No. 6 (formally Planet Zalt). His homeworld was made of mostly water and his race evolved from a species of amphibians.[4]

Naise arrived on Planet Earth with Cooler and his fellow comrades, Salza and Doore. After he battled against Son Goku, he fought against Son Gohan and later Piccolo. After Doore's death, Neiz attempted to neutralize Piccolo by using his Neiz Bind Wave technique. This only resulted in a smirk from the Namekian as he grabbed Neiz, when he came in closer to gloat, and reflected the attack back at him, thus killing Neiz instantly by frying him.

Coola can summon Naise to attack his opponent with electricity in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2, .

Naise made his first appearance as a playable character in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and his name was alternately spelled as Neizu.

Race

Naise is of the same race as Kāmasu and Mainē.

Abilities

  • Naise can pull his head into and out of his body (similar to a Turtle in its shell).
  • Naise has an electrical organ in his body allowing him to electrocute opponents.

  • Naise seems to be modeled most after Butta of all the Ginyu Force members in terms of appearance and personality.
  • According to Weekly Shōnen Jump, he prides himself on his speed (similar to Butta) and can create an electrical charge from his body (similar to Kishime).
