Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge
Cooler's Armored Squadron appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge. They presided over Planet Vegeta on the day it was destroyed by Freeza. They noticed a Saiyan Pod with a Saiyan infant eject from the planet. They planned to intercept its course and destroy it, but Cooler ordered to belay the attack.
Decades later, Cooler discovered that his brother had been killed by a Saiyan and vowed to reestablish his family pride. He departed for Earth with Cooler's Armored Squadron and hoped to ambush the Saiyan responsible for Freeza's death. The ambush was successful as Salza, Neiz, and Doore attacked Son Gohan and Krillin. Son Goku soon arrived and battled against, quickly overwhelming all of them. However, Cooler arrived and launched an energy blast at Gohan which Goku took head on and was badly injured. The group took cover in a cave and Gohan was forced to leave and obtain Senzu in order to heal his father's condition, but upon returning he was attacked by Cooler's Armored Squadron whom had been searching for the hidden group throughout the night. Piccolo suddenly arrived, saved the boy, and proceeded to do battle with Cooler's Armored Squadron, eventually killing Doore.
Neiz hit Piccolo with a powerful electric-like energy attack and believed he had won. Piccolo reversed the attack, however, which incinerated and killed Neiz. Salza went off to chase after Gohan, but Piccolo caught up with him and intervened. The two engaged in a fight which was stopped by the arrival of Cooler, who pierced Piccolo through the chest with an energy beam. Meanwhile, Gohan arrived and proceeded to give the bag of Senzu to Kuririn, only for them to be obliterated by Salza. An enraged Kuririn attacked Salza, but was easily pushed aside. Gohan remembered that he has an extra Senzu tucked under his belt and gave it to his injured father. He then attempted to fight against Salza as well to no avail. Goku arose fully healed, however, just as Cooler arrived. The battle between Cooler and Goku ensued, but resulted in Cooler being plummeted into the Sun after Goku used his Super Saiyan power. As the group celebrated, Salza reappeared and prepared to unleash an attack that could overpower the Z Warriors in their state, but he was suddenly countered by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. Thus, Cooler's Armored Squadron's three members, Salza, Doore, and Neiz, were each killed by Piccolo and their leader, Cooler, was blown into the Sun.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2
Three members of Cooler's Armored Squadron appeared in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.
Known members
Akin to all Dragon Ball characters, the members' names were derived from puns – in this case condiments and salad dressings. Nevertheless, all three were killed by Piccolo, who defeated all of them without effort (Though Salza was more of a challenge).
- Cooler (Leader)
- Doore – Derived from saradore (salad dressing): Long-haired and vaguely reminiscent of The Hulk, never seen without his helmet.
- Neiz – Pun on mayonnaise): Tall, brown reptilian creature who can retract the whole of his head into his body. He can fire an electrical attack that can immobilize his opponents.
- Salza – Pun on Thousand Island dressing, Sauzando Airando): Blue skinned "pretty-boy" commander with blonde hair; Cooler's right-hand man. He is able to slice through objects using a blade of Ki formed in his right hand and very similar to Zarbon in appearance.
Trivia
- The symbol on the Armored Squadron members' armor resembles Cooler's head in his final form.
