Kishime

Kishime (キシーメ, Kishiime; FUNimation "Kishime") is one of three named Bio-Men who Doctor Cochin creates.

Kishime's name comes from kishimen (きしめん), the Japanese word for flat wheat noodles.

Biography

Films

A truly hideous entity, Kishime was vaguely reptilian with green skin, pointed ears, and dorsal fins down his back. He was the smallest of the Bio-Men. He had the ability to sprout electric whips from his arms and chest, which could be used to shock his opponent.

When Doctor Uiro wished to test Turtle Hermit's strength, Cochin unleashed Kishime, Misokatsun, and Ebifrya into an arena where they battled against Turtle Hermit. It was Kishime who dealt the finishing blow which defeated Turtle Hermit, shocking him with one of his electric whips. Later, after Son Goku had defeated Misokatsun and fought his way to the second level of Doctor Uiro's Fortress, Kishime joined Ebifurya in attacking the intruder. He proved almost impossible for Goku to hit, using the power of teleportation to avoid his blows. It was because Goku had been electrocuted by Kishime that Ebifurya was able to freeze the unprepared Saiyan.

When Son Gohan and Kuririn arrived, Kishime attacked Gohan, but was knocked aside by Kuririn. Recovering, Kishime snared the two with his electric whips and shocked them repeatedly before throwing them into the air, where Ebifurya then froze them. Upon breaking free from the ice using the Kaio-ken, Goku knocked Ebifurya across the room with a single punch and circumvented Kishime's teleportation technique, dealing him a crushing blow to the back in midair.

Kishime was last seen lying on the floor and malfunctioning with electricity sparking over his body.

Techniques

• Electric Shock – Kishime sprouts electric whips from his arms and chest to shock his opponent.
• Unnamed teleportation technique – A technique that resembles the Zanzo-ken, yet as Goku himself points out, it is not the Zanzo-ken because his Ki disappears when he disappears (like with the Instantaneous Movement). It may possibly that it is some form of the Instantaneous Movement.

Trivia

• Soba, the Yardrat who appears in Dragon Ball Z: Sagas, looks very similar to Kishime. It is interesting to note that Kishime is known for his teleportation technique which resembles the Instant Transmission, the teleportation technique created by the Yardrats.
