Super Masenko (超魔閃光) is a more powerful version of the Masenko used by Gohan. First, Gohan raises his hands above his head like the normal Masenko, but charges it with more power. Then, while it is being prepared, some of the excess energy are released as streaks of yellow electricity. Finally, Gohan brings his hands forward and fires the attack at the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.
Gohan used this attack during his battle against Frieza in his final form on Planet Namek. While stalling Frieza until Planet Namek's explosion, Gohan sensed that his father was still alive after he was earlier knocked into the ground. Enraged, Gohan powered up and yelled at Frieza, "You hurt my dad! You killed my friend!" Then, he charged at Frieza and knocked him to the ground with a barrage of punches and kicks. Gohan followed up by blasting Frieza with the Super Masenko, creating a huge explosion. However, Frieza emerged from the blast unharmed, but before he was about to kill Gohan, Goku rose up into the air and Gohan flew away to Goku's spaceship while his father finished the battle with Frieza.
Super Masenko was named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and is also one of Teen Gohan's Blast 2 attacks in both his base and Super Saiyan forms. It also appeared in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast, and is available as one of Teen Gohan's Super Attacks in all of his forms. It is also used in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit as Teen Gohan's ultimate attack. It is also one of Ultimate Gohan's Super Attacks in Raging Blast 2.
