"The Last Three Namekians" (危うし最長老たち, Ayaushi Saichōrō-tachi; Literally meaning "The Eldest and Co. in Danger") is chapter 285 of the Dragon Ball manga.

Chapter Synopsis

120,000... 130,000... 140,000... Still rising. 160,000... but then Goku stops at 180,000 and Ginyu can't believe this. Jheese thinks there's no way they can win, since Captain Ginyu's highest figure is only 120,000. Then Ginyu wonders if he really is a Super Saiyan. Goku remembers Vegeta also said something about that, but he doesn't know anything about it. Jheese freaks out at the idea of a Super Saiyan, the legendary strongest warrior, the one thing Freeza fears most.

Goku tells them that there's no way they can beat him, and he doesn't want to fight a pointless battle, so they should leave this planet. Ginyu can't believe it, and asks if he's serious. Goku says he is, and since Ginyu is such a skilled fighter, he doesn't want to kill him. "Don't want to kill me? Don't want to fight a pointless battle?" Ginyu thinks to himself that a Super Saiyan, the strongest warrior in the entire universe, would enjoy blood and battle. He figures Goku must not be a Super Saiyan, yet. But Ginyu still knows Goku is far stronger than him, and laughs about that extraordinary technique.

Meanwhile, Freeza approaches the Eldest's house, and notices there's just three Namekians there. Nail knows he's almost here, and the Eldest finishes powering up Dende. He tells Dende to hurry and go help the Earthlings, and so Dende reluctantly leaves, telling the Eldest not to die. Dende flies right past Freeza on the way out, but Freeza doesn't worry about him. Freeza lands and hops out of his pod. Nail comes out of the house and asks if he wants something. Freeza explains that he's gathered all seven of their Dragon Balls, but he cannot make a wish, so he wants them to tell him how. Nail says he would never tell an evil person like him. Freeza thinks he should be more obedient, saying there are two people here so he might just kill him.

Nail says that's fine, but before they fight, he must explain something: "The other person within the house is Planet Namek's Eldest. The Dragon Balls are the Eldest's creation. Get it into your head! If you were to kill the Eldest, the Dragon Balls would also vanish!" Freeza wonders about this "Eldest" and shoots some eye lasers up at a window, then flies up and looks inside. He looks at the Eldest and asks if he won't answer him instead, so he won't have to kill this other one. The Eldest says that Nail is the only Fighting-Type on this planet, and he isn't like the ones that have previously been killed. Freeza takes that as a "no". The Eldest telepathically asks Nail to at least just buy some time, and Nail understands. Freeza decides that if he's going to be stubborn, then he'll have to show him the terror of the greatest in the entire universe!
