From Dragon Ball Encyclopedia, the ''Dragon Ball'' wiki
Dragon Ball Z: Buyū Retsuden, released in Japan as Dragon Ball Z 武勇 烈伝 (ドラゴン ボール ゼット ぶゆう れつでん, Doragon Bōru Zetto: Buyū Retsuden; Literally meaning "Dragon Ball Z: Valor Violent Biography"), is a Fighting game for the Sega Genesis. It was first released in Japan on April 1, 1994. The Japanese version was also sold in Portugal and packaged with a regional converter (Mega Key III), however, the game was never translated into English or released in North America.

Story
It seems loosely based upon various events in the Dragon Ball Z anime, albeit in a "what if" kind of way (for example, Artificial Human No. 18's story already has her married to Kuririn and Kuririn's story has him defending/disabling her from being absorbed by Cell).
Gameplay
Gameplay and graphics are similar to Dragon Ball Z: Sūpā Butōden 2.
