The Evil Impulse (エビル インパルス, Ebiru Inparusu) is an offensive technique used by Demon King Dabura.

Usage

Dabura puts his hand forward at a 90 degree angle and charges a reddish-pink sphere of energy. He then fires the attack at his opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

History

Dragon Ball Z

Dabura used this attack in his battle against Son Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form. After teleporting and avoiding Dabura's Evil Flame, Gohan charged at Dabura and tried to punch him. Dabura avoided the attack by using the Zanzo-ken, however, and blasted Gohan into a lake with the Evil Impulse.

Video games

Budokai series

Dabura using the Hell Blitz in Budokai 2.

It is named Hell Blitz in the Budokai video game series.

Budokai Tenkaichi series

Evil Impulse is named in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is one of Dabura's Blast 2 attacks. It appears as a reddish-black color.

Raging Blast series

It later appeared in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 where its color is more like in the anime.

Data books

It is named Honō no Tama (炎 の 玉, Honō no Tama; Literally meaning "Flame of Ball") in Dragon Ball: Daizenshū 7.
