The Execution Beam (処刑 光線, Shokei Kōsen) is an energy beam attack used by King Vegeta.
Use
King Vegeta steps back, puts his hand forward, and charges a purple energy sphere. He then fires the energy sphere in the form of a small beam of energy at his opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.
History
Dragon Ball Z
King Vegeta used this attack in one of Freeza's flashbacks to execute a Saiyan soldier as punishment for failing to capture Planet Tazba on time due to the full moon being three days away.
Films
King Vegeta used this attack in Paragas' flashback to order the latter’s execution along with his son, Broly, in Dragon Ball Z: Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan.
Video games
The Execution Beam appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and is one of King Vegeta’s Blast 2 attacks.
