The Fulums (フルムス, Furumusu) are a race of silent humanoids who Lord Piccolo creates from his blood and DNA.

[edit] History

The Fu-Lum appeared in Dragonball: Evolution. They have the distinction of being the only one of the film's four villains (the others being Lord Piccolo, Mai, and Oozaru) who are not based on a character in any previous work in the Dragon Ball series.

The Fu Lum were by far the most mysterious characters in the film, as their was no explanation of how the machine worked to create them. The only thing known was that the machine drained Lord Piccolo's blood and animated the bodies inside the tubes. The Fu Lum were first seen being created on Mai's ship after she released Lord Piccolo and gathered some of the Promethium Orbs. They later attacked Goku and his friends near a volcano, but despite proving themselves dangerous enemies, they were all killed when the heroes knocked them into lava.

[edit] Trivia

  • The Fu Lum are a homage to Piccolo Daimao's mutant sons from the original Dragon Ball manga, and possibly to the Saibaimen.
  • Fu Lum is an unlockable playable character in Dragonball: Evolution.
  • The Fu Lum can turn their defeated enemies into one of them as suggested in Fu Lum's epilogue in the Arcade mode of Dragonball: Evolution.
