Grenade

Grenades (グレネード, Gurenēdo) are handheld explosive weapons triggered by the pull of a pin.

In the Dragon Ball anime, Tao Pai Pai used the Ultimate Final Strategy in his attempt to kill Son Goku by throwing a grenade at the young Saiyan. After it was thrown, Tao jumped into the air to avoid the explosion, but Goku kicked it up into the air and it exploded almost directly in front of Tao.
Mister Satan also tried to use grenades and other explosives in an attempt to defeat Fat Boo, but they all failed to kill him.
Grenades were also presumably used by Earth's Military, as well as the Red Ribbon Army.

In the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series, both Tao and Satan will throw grenades (in Satan's case, he uses them in the place of Ki Blasts) as charged Ki attacks.
