The Heat Dome Attack (ヒート ドーム アタック, Hiito Dōmu Atakku) is an energy sphere attack used by Future Trunks Brief in his Super Saiyan form.

Usage

First, Future Super Saiyan Trunks throws his opponent up into the air and points both his hands up. Next, he charges a large dome of yellow energy around himself. Finally, a gigantic sphere of energy expels up from the energy dome at his opponent, inflicting an enormous amount of damage.

History

Dragon Ball Z

Future Super Saiyan Trunks used this attack to destroy Future Cell in his alternate timeline. Thanks to his training from the main timeline, Future Super Saiyan Trunks easily outclassed Future Cell and knocked the Future Artificial Human down onto the ground. When Future Cell attempted to attack with his tail, Future Super Saiyan Trunks caught it and threw Future Cell up into the air. Future Cell then prepared a Kamehameha in hopes of destroying Planet Earth, but Future Super Saiyan Trunks countered and destroyed Future Cell with the Heat Dome Attack. With all of the Future Artificial Human defeated and peace restored to his timeline, Future Trunks thanked Son Goku and the others for everything they had done for him.

Video games

Heat Dome Attack is named in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is Future Trunks (Fighting)'s Ultimate Blast in his Super Saiyan form.

It also appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, and Dragon Ball: Raging Blast. When Trunks is performing this attack in Supersonic Warriors 2, he mistakenly yells, "Finish Buster".
