Makaioshins (魔界王神, Makaiōshin; Literally meaning "Demon World King God") are evil-hearted Shins who are born from the Kaiju on Planet Kaishin.

History

The Makaioshin were in a sense the opposite of Kaioshins, and their evil hearts and intentions caused them to be forcefully cast into the Demon Realm to be kept separate from civilization. No official Makaioshins were ever officially stated because the name of the race was first introduced in Dragon Ball: Sūpā Ekisaitingu Gaido: Kyarakutā Hen, which was released years after Dragon Ball Z's finale in Japan. It is very probable that Dabura, the top minion of the evil wizard Babidi, was in fact a Makaioshin. He was stated by East Kaioshin to be the "King of the Demon Realm". This might explain East Kaioshin great fear of Dabura's power (although Makaioshins were stated to be weaker than Kaioshins).

The filler character Shula was most likely a Makaioshin for the same reasons as Dabura, as he was also referred to as a "King of the Demon World" and lived in the Demon Realm.

Games

Miracle Battle Carddass Dragon Ball Kai lists Dabura as a Makaio.

Data books

Lucifer was stated to be a Makaioshin in the "Human Racial Dictionary" in Dragon Ball: Daizenshū 7. Daizenshū 7 also simply listed Dabura and Shura as being of the "Race of the Demon Realm".
