The Weekly Special is one of Raditz's techniques where he fires a rain of energy blasts at his opponents, inflicting great damage. Its name is a pun that is retained in other techniques that Raditz uses, such as the Saturday Crush and the Double Sunday.
Weekly Special is named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai where Raditz kicks his opponent to the floor before shooting the barrage of Ki Blasts down at them (the technique is also used by other fighters in the game, although it is named differently); the technique can be powered up by roatating the anolog sticks on the PS2 controller. It appears under the generic name Full Power Energy Blast Volley in Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
