Yardrat (race)

The Yardrats (ヤードラット星人, Yādoratto-seijin; FUNimation "Yardratian") are a race from Planet Yardrat.
History
The Yardrats were a physically weak race, but possessed the ability to manipulate space and time. They taught Goku the Instant Transmission technique. They were first encountered by Son Goku after the defeat of Freeza on Planet Namek. Goku arrived in one of the Ginyu Force's abandoned Space Pods that had already been pre-programmed to travel to Planet Yardrat. This implies that Planet Yardrat may have been intended as the Ginyu Force's next target had the Ginyu Force not been ordered to Planet Namek and subsequently defeated by Goku.
Video games
A Yardrat named Soba appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Sagas. He is the only named Yardrat to date.
The Yardrats appeared in Dragon Ball Online.
