"Care to tell me what happened, Vegeta? Or is the wound to your ego still too raw to be examined? Judging by these stress fractures in your protective armor, you must've received quite a beating, and that's putting it lightly. I hope you're not entertaining ideas of revenge, I might not be here to put you back together next time."
Malaka in "A Friendly Surprise"

Malaka is a member of Freeza's Force.

Appearance[edit]

Malaka is brown-skinned, reptile-like, and has an orange mohawk.

Biography[edit]

Malaka and the control tower soldier monitoring the battle between Freeza and Super Saiyan Goku.
Malaka's brief appearance during the Trunks Saga.

Malka was the chief doctor of Planet Freeza No. 79 and mostly monitored injured warriors as they healed in Rejuvenation Tanks. Malka was in charge of healing Vegeta in the early episodes of the Namek Saga after Vegeta had returned from his defeat on Planet Earth.

He later reappeared during the Freeza Saga in "Namek's Destruction" in a filler scene monitoring the battle between Son Goku in his Super Saiyan form and Freeza. Out of all the soldiers who were caught in the explosion, he was the sole survivor.

His final appearance in the series was in a filler flashback during the Trunks Saga where he monitored Freeza in a Rejuvenation Tank as well as helped other doctors construct Freeza's new mechanical body.

Films[edit]

Malaka and Planthorr watching the birth of Kakarrot.

Malaka appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Bardock: The Father of Goku. He was seen alongside Planthorr when Son Goku was born. He was also in charge of healing Bardock's wounds and was surprised that the scanners showed that Bardock's battle power reading was over 10,000. Presumably, he was still on Planet Vegeta when Freeza destroyed it, supposedly killing him. This is inconsistent with the fact that he appeared in later episodes, however, though he could have escaped from the planet via the launch center after evacuating as many of Freeza's personnel as he could. Unlike other soldiers in Freeza's Force, he was not very violent and was quite polite when around Saiyans, such as Vegeta and Bardock. He was presumably killed when Future Trunks Brief blew up King Cold's Spaceship
