231"Magic Ball of Boo"The Ultimate Evil! Djinn BooAppears!! (解けた封印!出るぞ 凶悪魔人ブウ!!)June 29, 1994November 1, 2001
Son Goku and Vegeta continue their awesome battle. Vegeta reveals that he knew he could never surpass Son Goku's strength, so he allowed himself to be taken over by Bobbidi. He had seen what it had done to Spopovich and Yamu, and he wanted the power for himself. He also says that he wanted Bobbidi to reawaken the evil in his heart. Over the years, he had become like a normal person; he had a wife and a son, and thought the earth was a nice place to live. He wanted Bobbidi's magic to free him from "those petty attachments." Meanwhile, before Son Gohan and Shin can stop Bobbidi, Boo has finally gathered enough energy, and has begun to hatch.
