Lock-On Buster

The Lock-On Buster (ロックオン バスター, Rokku-On Basutā) is a cybernetic-enhanced version of the Darkness Eye Beam used by Meta-Cooler.

Usage

Meta-Cooler creates a small amount of sparkling energy in front of his face. He then shouts, "I got you!" and fires a fast-moving energy beam that leaves behind a sparkling trail and creates a huge blinding explosion upon impact.

History

Films

Meta-Cooler used this attack in his battle against Son Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan forms in Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler. After avoiding Super Saiyan Vegeta's Big Bang Attack using his Instant Transmission, Meta-Cooler appeared and kneed Super Saiyan Vegeta in the stomach, surprising and temporarily knocking out the Saiyan prince. Using his cybernetic modifications to locate Super Saiyan Goku, Meta-Cooler punched Super Saiyan Vegeta towards Super Saiyan Goku and fired the Lock-On Buster at both of them, leaving them moderately injured.

Video games

Lock-On Buster is named in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is one of Meta-Cooler's Blast 2 attacks. Lock-On Buster later appeared in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.
