Sansho (サンショ, Sansho) is a member of Garlic Jr.'s Demon Clan.

Sansho's name is a pun on the word Sanshō, or Japanese Pepper in English.

Appearance[edit]

Sansho is large and muscular and has long red-purple sideburns and grey skin.

Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone[edit]

Sansho appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone. He was the strong and silent one in the group. His battle phrase was "Pepperoni" in the Ocean Group dub. His battle phrase was changed to "Cheese" in the FUNimation dub. His battle phrase was "Unaju" (Eel rice) in the FUNimation sub.

When Son Goku arrived to save Son Gohan, Sansho became separated from Ginger and Nikki. He tried to attack Kuririn, but was stopped by Piccolo. Though he stated that he did not need the help of Ginger and Nikki to finish the Namekian off, he was quickly slain when Piccolo punched him through several pillars and fired a Ki Blast at him.

Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn[edit]

Sansho made a cameo appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn along with countless other previous villains who had escaped Hell.

  • Sansho is the only member of Garlic Jr.'s trio of villains from Dead Zone who does not share his name with a town featured in the Cell Saga.
