The Nappa Cannon (ナッパ キャノン, Nappa Kyanon) is an energy wave attack used by Nappa.

Usage

First, Nappa powers up with the Lightning Aura. Next, he opens his mouth and charges a blue energy sphere. Finally, Nappa fires the sphere of energy in the form of an energy wave at his opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

History

Dragon Ball Z

Nappa used this attack in his battle against Son Goku. After exchanging blows with Goku, Nappa fired the Break Cannon at Goku, who quickly countered with a Kamehameha. The two energy waves collided in an Energy Struggle that soon ended with a huge explosion. Nappa later attempted to use the Break Cannon against Son Gohan and Kuririn after he lost the battle against Goku. Goku flew after Nappa and attacked him with the Kaio-ken Finish, however, and broke Nappa's back and rendered him unable to fight.

Video games

Nappa Cannon is named in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast. It later appeared in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.

It is named Lightning Cannon in Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors.

It is named Break Cannon (ブレイク キャノン, Bureiku Kyanon) in the Budokai video game series and is one of Nappa's attacks.

It later appeared in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series, but was given different names in each game. It is named Super Mouth Blast, Chou Makouhou, and Kapa in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, respectively.

It later appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit and is one Nappa's ultimate attacks.
