This episode starts with Son Goten and Trunks trying to think of ways to buy time, for their next fusion, Trunks thinks they should just apologize and give him lots of candy, Piccolo Jr. doesn't approve. Suddenly Super Boo falls asleep, but Piccolo isn't sure if he's pretending or not. Goten and Trunks test Super Boo by trying to pull his head tentacle, but Piccolo calls the two back. It seems Super Boo might sleep out the hour Goten and Trunks need, so they can do the fusion technique again.
Suddenly an incredible power rushes towards them, Piccolo thinks it's Son Goku, but Goten quickly reveals that it is Son Gohan, wearing his father's-style gi. Goten tells Gohan about how Super Boo ate all of their family and friends, but Gohan thinks he can sense Dende's power still.
Super Boo recognizes Gohan, and says that he has beaten him before, this give him a lot of confidence, but Gohan isn't worried, as he has significantly improved since his last battle.
And so the battle begins, and Super Boo can't land a punch on Gohan. Super Boo then reveals that he is toying, and decides to fight properly, but still it is not enough and Gohan pummels Super Boo, forcing him to get very angry.
