Bluff Kamehameha

The Bluff Kamehameha (ブラフ かめはめ波, Burafu Kamehameha; Literally meaning "Bluff Turtle Destruction Wave") is an energy wave attack used by Gogeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form.

Usage

Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta holds his hands back to his side in the Kamehameha stance. When he fires the attack, however, it releases confetti and streamers instead of a blue wave of energy.

History

Dragon Ball GT

Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta used this attack in his battle against Omega Shen Long. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta duplicated himself into five beings and, while preparing the Bluff Kamehameha, they claimed it had enough power to finish off Omega. At first, Omega was shocked at this. When the five Gogetas fired the Bluff Kamehameha at Omega, however, it covered the Evil Dragon in confetti and streamers. While Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta laughed at this, Omega grew angry and continued the fight.

Video games

Bluff Kamehameha is named in Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World and is one of Gogeta's attacks in his Super Saiyan 4 form. Instead of inflicting damage on his opponent, it reduces their ki bars by four. If his opponent is doing a super attack Fusion when hit, it reduces their ki bars by six.

Trivia

• The Bluff Kamehameha is one of two Kamehameha variations that do not inflict any damage (the other being the Chocolate Kamehameha).
