Dende's Dragon is the eighth episode of the Cell Games Saga and the one hundred and seventy-third overall episode in the uncut version Dragon Ball Z series. The original Japanese title is "Dende no Hatsu Sigoto!! Doragon bolu Fukkatsu da" (デンデの初仕事!! ドラゴンボール復活だ). The episode first aired on February 3, 1993. It's original American air date was November 22, 2000.

At the start of the episode you see Cell blowing up an army. Goku soon uses his Instant Transmission to get to King Kai because he thought if he got Earth a new Guardian the Dragon Balls would come back. King Kai locates the Nameks. He teleports to where they are. After some talk Dende agrees to be the Guardian of Earth. Goku brings Dende to Kami’s Lookout.
Meanwhile it is announced that Mr. Satan , the world champion, will fight Cell in the Cell Games.
Soon they are about to create a Dragon when Goku asks, “Can it be powerful enough to bring back everybody Cell defeated?”
Dende says, “Yes, but then it will only be able to grant 2 wishes.” Mr. Popo gets a stone Dragon and Dende makes the new Dragon Balls and the Dragon Balls fly off. Goku goes collecting the Dragon Balls and finds two. The picture cuts to Perfect Cell waiting for the tournament. End of episode.
