The Kamekameha (かめかめ波, Kamekameha; Literally meaning "Turtle Turtle Wave") is a mispronounced and misdirected version of the Kamehameha and used by Son Goten. When Goten uses the attack, it creates an energy wave like the normal Kamehameha, but the difference is that it loses direction and flies anywhere. This is presumably because Goten has not learned to control the direction of his energy attacks.

History[edit]

Dragon Ball Z[edit]

Goten used this attack in his match against Trunks Brief at the 25th Tenkaichi Tournament. Trunks and the Tenkaichi Tournament Announcer dodged the attack, which then blasted a hole through the Tenkaichi Tournament waiting room.

Dragon Ball GT[edit]

Naturon Shenron also used the Kamekameha, but his version was just a mispronunciation and not uncontrolled like Goten's version.

Video games[edit]

The Kamekameha appeared in multiple video games, such as Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury and the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series, however, it functions just like the standard Kamehameha.
