The Chou Makouhou (超魔口砲, Chō-makōhō) is an energy wave attack used by Vegeta in his Great Ape form.

Usage

Great Ape Vegeta opens his mouth and fires a pink energy wave at his opponent.

History

Dragon Ball Z

Great Ape Vegeta used this attack in his fight against Son Goku when Goku was in the middle of performing the Genki Dama. Caught by surprise, Goku took the full force of Great Ape Vegeta's attack and therefore the energy he had collected for the Genki Dama vanished.

Video games

The Chō-gyarikku Burasutā in Dragon Ball Heroes.

Chou Makouhou is named in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is one of Vegeta's Blast 2 attacks in his Great Ape form.

It is named Chō-gyarikku Burasutā (超ギャリック ブラスター, Chō-gyarikku Burasutā) in Dragon Ball Heroes.

• Great Ape Tora and Great Ape King Vegeta use a purple version of a Mouth Energy Wave that looks similar to the Chou Makouhou.
