Killed directly by Vegeta
Anime
- Lesoy: An Arlian warrior, the king's champion, who won the title from Greger in a duel. The first person to be killed by Vegeta in Dragonball Z, he is killed when the king orders him to destroy Vegeta, and Vegeta shoots his head with a finger beam, destroying it entirely.
- King Moai: The wicked king of Planet Arlia, who stole Atla's wife Lemlia from him. After Nappa destroyed Yetti, the king attempted to run from Vegeta, but Vegeta raised two of his fingers, lifted up a bunch of rocks with his mind, and shot one of them straight through the king's chest.
- Atla: The first innocent victim of Vegeta in the anime. Just as the Arlian prince was reunited with his wife, Queen Lemlia, Vegeta blew up Planet Arlia, killing everyone on the planet.
- Lemlia: Queen of Arlia, stolen from her husband Atla by the evil King Moai. Just as she was reunited with Atla, Vegeta blew up Planet Arlia.
- Saibaman: One of Nappa's six Saibamen was killed with a finger beam from Vegeta after getting beaten by Tien. This is the first of two characters to be killed by Vegeta for losing a battle.
- Nappa: Vegeta's partner and friend, he got badly beaten by Goku using the Kaioken attack. Nappa asks Vegeta to help him up, but instead he throws Nappa into the air and eliminates him with a powerful energy wave.
- Cui: Vegeta's rival and one of Frieza's three top henchmen. Cui's power level was higher than Vegeta's originally (18,000, so his was likely around 19,000) but after recovering from his fight with Goku, Gohan, and Yajirobe, his power level increased to 24,000, and his speed increased as well, so he ruthlessly chased his rival and punched him into the sky, then blew him up in a "Dirty Fireworks" attack.
- Dodoria: One of Frieza's top two henchmen, power level around 21,000. While separated from Frieza and Zarbon, he ran into Vegeta, and offered to tell him the secret of his home planet if Vegeta promises never to hurt him again. Dodoria told him Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, but Vegeta broke his end of the bargain and destroyed Dodoria with an energy wave as he attempted to run back to Frieza.
- Nameks of village: He found the Namek village and killed all its inhabitants (except one, though he didn't know it).
- Namekian Elder: The elder of the Namek village Vegeta attacked. He tried to stop Vegeta getting the Dragon Ball, having witnessed him killing several Nameks, but Vegeta disintegrated him with an energy wave. Tragically he was not revived with the Dragon Balls, as Vegeta is not one of Frieza's gang.
- Appule: One of Frieza's henchmen, who takes orders from Zarbon. He was assigned by Zarbon to watch over Vegeta while he healed inside the rejuvenation tank, injured from his fight with the transformed Zarbon. As Appule was going on about how weak Vegeta was, Vegeta woke up and broke out of the rejuvenation tank, presumably with an energy blast, killing Appule instantly and stepping on his head after death.
- Zarbon: Frieza's right hand man and his most powerful henchman who had the ability to transform into a reptilian beast, with a maximum power level of around 30,000. Frieza gave him an hour to find Vegeta, who had stolen all his Dragon Balls. Zarbon found Vegeta and transformed to fight him, but as Vegeta had recovered and grown stronger from their previous fight, he slammed his fist through Zarbon's stomach and shot an energy beam clean through his chest, sending him to a watery grave in the Namekian sea.
- Guldo: The first official "good" thing Vegeta ever does. Guldo is the weakest of the Ginyu Force, has psychic powers and the ability to stop time by holding his breath, and who has had previous encounters with Vegeta, being saved by Frieza. As Guldo had Krillin and Gohan trapped using his Mind Freeze, he was about to skewer them with a spear made from a tree, when Vegeta attacked, slicing off his head and stopping the Mind Freeze in time for Gohan to get out of the way. (In the edited version, he falls to the ground with his head clearly not attached, while in the uncut, his head rolls right off his neck). Vegeta kills Guldo with an energy blast. His corpse appears intact until Planet Namek is destroyed.
- Burter: The fastest member of the Ginyu Force, and Jeice's partner while fighting. Goku fought Burter and Jeice, easily knocking Burter out and causing Jeice to run away and leave Recoome and Burter for dead. Vegeta took advantage of the opportunity to slam his knee down on Burter's neck, killing him instantly. His corpse was later seen occasionally.
- Recoome: The strongest Ginyu Force member behind Captain Ginyu. Vegeta killed him as revenge for beating him up after Goku had knocked him unconscious, blowing him up with a huge ki-blast.
- Frieza's soldiers: Any of Frieza's soldiers left at Frieza's ship were killed by Vegeta when he arrived at Frieza's ship in search of the Dragon Balls. This may have included Strock, Strong, Goose, and Oggers, if they were not already killed by Ginyu.
- Jeice: Vegeta, stronger after recovering from his fight with Recoome, fought Jeice and easily gained the advantage. When he grew tired of toying with him, he kicked him away and shattered his ribs with a karate chop to the kidney. Coughing and moaning in pain, he opened his eyes to see Vegeta with his hand right next to his face. Begging for his life "Vegeta! No! No!" he was completely annihilated with an energy blast straight to the face. Goku clearly disapproved.
- Bird-Like soldier: A follower of Frieza on another planet, he was unfortunate to have his planet visited by Vegeta, who was searching for Goku. Vegeta killed him with an energy blast after telling him that Frieza was killed by a Super Saiyan.
- Several more Frieza soldiers: Killed by Vegeta while he was in space looking for Goku.
- Android 19: A purely mechanical android, fat, chalk-white, and with an annoying voice. He was absorbing Goku's energy when Vegeta attacked him. Turning Super Saiyan, he used this power in battle for the first time, and gained the advantage on 19, until 19 grabbed his arms in an attempt to drain his energy. Vegeta pressed his feet against 19's face and tore his hands off. 19 attempted to run, but Vegeta shot a Big Bang Attack at him. Without his arms, the annoying android (who can apparently experience fear) was blown up in a huge mushroom cloud explosion that Bulma and Yajirobe could see from a distance. Only his head remained, clearly dead.
- Seven innocent people: About seven people were killed by Vegeta when he was fighting Android 18, who deliberately took the fight to the city. Several people inside cars were killed either with energy blasts shot at 18, or when Vegeta (unintentionally but still carelessly) caused them to crash. A man driving a paperclip truck was unfortunate enough to drive up behind 18 when Vegeta was shooting an energy blast at her. He clearly knew the truck was there, yet he shot an energy wave at her anyway. Naturally, she dodged, and the beam hit the truck, destroying it and its driver.
- Pui Pui: Babidi's henchman, and the last of Vegeta's evil victims in Dragonball Z. Pui Pui was assigned to fight Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, as any damage caused by a Majin in Babidi's spaceship is energy that will go to Majin Buu. Babidi used his magic to teleport them to Planet Zoon, Pui Pui's home planet, with 10 times Earth's gravity, in an attempt to give Pui Pui the advantage. Vegeta was thoroughly unaffected by the change in gravity, and beat Pui Pui up before completely vaporizing him with an energy wave to the chest, point blank. He never even turned Super Saiyan, and was amazed Babidi would send them such a weakling.
- Some innocent people: Vegeta's final innocent victims. He was turned into Majin Vegeta by Babidi, and was teleported to the World Tournament stadium by Babidi, along with Goku, Gohan, and Supreme Kai. Vegeta shot an energy blast at Goku, who tried to block it but was unsuccessful, and the energy wave hit part of the bleachers and killed many of the spectators. Yamcha and Bulma wished them back to life with the Dragonballs. Vegeta was unaware of this, and one of the reasons he said for the second wish to be to wish back everyone who died after the tournament except the evil ones (as opposed to wishing back all of Buu's victims) was so all of his victims could be wished back.
Movies
- Cooler as the Big Gete Star: In Movie 6, The Return of Cooler, Goku destroyed Cooler's mechanized body which had joined with the Big Gete Star, except for the one chip that the star started out as. On his way back to Earth in his space pod, Vegeta crushed the chip in his hand, ensuring that the Big Gete Star would never return and ultimately sealing Cooler's fate.
- Android 15: In Movie 7, Super Android 13, the small purple android who was fighting Vegeta in the clash between androids and Super Saiyans. Vegeta ran at 15 and chopped his head off, in quite a similar manner to Guldo. 15's head fell off in his hands and he blew up.
- Janemba: In Movie 12, Fusion Reborn, Goku and Vegeta did the Fusion Dance and became Gogeta, who beat up Janemba before shooting a sparking energy ball through his chest, disintegrating the evil demon and freeing the teenage ogre from his control.
Deaths Vegeta assisted in
Anime
- Cell: Gohan and the evil android Cell (second of the three main villains) were in a beam struggle and Cell was about to destroy Gohan and Earth when Vegeta shot an energy ball at him. This distracted him enough for Gohan to unleash the full force of his Kamehameha and destroy Cell.
- Kid Buu: Vegeta devised the plan to annihilate the third of the three main villains, from wishing back Earth and its inhabitants, to forming Goku's Spirit Bomb. Vegeta also fought Kid Buu to give Goku the time he needed when Majin Buu was getting weak. When Goku threw the Spirit Bomb at Kid Buu, it destroyed the evil demon completely.
Movies
- Cooler: In Movie 6, The Return of Cooler, Cooler, who was merged with the core of the Big Gete Star, was wrapping his metal cords around Goku, nearly killing him and causing severe bleeding, when Vegeta shot an energy disk (possibly the same one he used to cut Gohan's tail off) and severed the metal cords, causing Cooler great pain and giving Goku the chance he needed to shoot one small energy ball at Cooler, which blew him up and destroyed him for good.
