The Banshee Blast is an energy beam attack used by Vegetto, Salza, and Bido.

Usage

The user points all of the fingers on their hand out and fires energy beams from each finger, inflicting a good amount of damage.

History

Dragon Ball Z

This technique was named in the fight between Vegetto and Super Boo. While being attacked by Boo's Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, Vegetto pointed all five of his fingers at the Kamikaze Ghosts and yelled, "Banshee Blast!" He then charged up five small golden-yellow energy spheres, each on the tip of a finger. Vegetto finally fired the energy spheres at the Kamikaze Ghosts, destroying one with each of his fingers.

Films

Salza used this attack in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge.

Bido used a two-handed version of the Banshee Blast named the Brave Gatling in his battle with Zangya and Bujin against Son Gohan in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound. Bido pointed all ten of his fingers at his opponent, charged up small red energy spheres on the tip of each finger, and fired red beams of Ki at his opponent.

Video games

It is named Scatter Finger Beam in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is one of Vegetto's Blast 2 attacks in his base and Super Saiyan forms. As Super Vegetto, he uses it as a full powered Ki Blast. It is also used by Salza.

It is named Scatter Energy Bullet (拡散 エネルギー 弾, Kakusan Enerugii Dan) in Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension.

Games

It is named Kakusan Enerugiidan (拡散 エネルギー弾, Kakusan Enerugiidan) in Miracle Battle Carddass Dragon Ball Kai.

Data books

It is named Renzoku Kikōha (連続 気功波, Renzoku Kikōha; Literally meaning "Continuous Spirit Work Wave") in Dragon Ball: Daizenshū 7.
