This technique was named in the fight between Vegetto and Super Boo. While being attacked by Boo's Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, Vegetto pointed all five of his fingers at the Kamikaze Ghosts and yelled, "Banshee Blast!" He then charged up five small golden-yellow energy spheres, each on the tip of a finger. Vegetto finally fired the energy spheres at the Kamikaze Ghosts, destroying one with each of his fingers.
Salza used this attack in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge.
Bido used a two-handed version of the Banshee Blast named the Brave Gatling in his battle with Zangya and Bujin against Son Gohan in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound. Bido pointed all ten of his fingers at his opponent, charged up small red energy spheres on the tip of each finger, and fired red beams of Ki at his opponent.
It is named Scatter Finger Beam in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is one of Vegetto's Blast 2 attacks in his base and Super Saiyan forms. As Super Vegetto, he uses it as a full powered Ki Blast. It is also used by Salza.
