The Energy Finger Beam (指先 から 気功 波, Yubisaki Kara Kikō Ha; Literally meaning "Spirit Work Wave from the Fingertip") is an energy wave notably used by Salza in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge. The user holds out his fingers and releases small yellow energy beams from their fingertips. Salza can even use the one-handed version, the Banshee Blast. The Finger Beam is also a signature move used by the Artificial Human duo Future Artificial Human No. 17 and Future Artificial Human No. 18 in Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks.
Future No. 17 and Future No. 18 used this attack in various occasions during the film. This attack debuted during Krillin's assassination. They executed this attack many times during the destruction of West City and its people, and in the battles against Future Son Gohan and Future Trunks. Kid Buu is seen using a variation of the Finger Beam very similar to Super Buu's Finger Vanishing Beam to kill Alphans during a flashback, as well as to destroy planets in the episode "True Saiyans Fight Alone".
Omega Shen Long also used the Energy Finger Beam in Dragon Ball GT to prevent Goku from getting his vision back. After that, he instantly fired a second energy beam to kill Goku, but Nuova Shen Long got in the way to save him and was killed. He also used it multiple times against Goku, as well as using a continuous version of the attack.
Omega also used a red finger beam variation similiar to Kid Buu's finger beam against both Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan 4 forms.
In the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series, No. 18 uses the Energy Finger Beam to end her rush attack, the Sadistic 18. This attack also appears in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast.
