Cargott (カルゴ, Karugo; FUNimation "Cargo", Viz "Cargot") is a Namekian who lives with his older brother, Dende. They are incredibly close to each other, and even look nearly identical.

Biography

Cargo after being murdered (by Dodoria in the anime or by Freeza in the manga).

Cargo lived with Moori and Dende when Freeza had his men (including Dodoria and Zarbon) attack their village for their Dragon Ball. Cargo witnessed several Namekian fighters defeat Freeza's men, but then saw the fighters sadistically killed by Dodoria. Moori told Cargo and Dende to run away from him. As Moori prepared to attack, Dodoria uses his Mouth Blast (this was in the anime while in the manga Frieza uses his Death Beam) in killing Cargo instantly, most likely to scare Moori.

Cargo was subsequently revived by Shen Long along with Moori and the others Freeza and his men had killed, and was transported to Earth by Porunga. He relocated to New Planet Namek with the rest of his people after their stay on Earth.

His name is a pun on the word "escargot".

• It is unknown why Cargott's attacker was changed from Freeza in the original manga to Dodoria in the anime.
