Synopsis
Turtle Hermit turned Kame House into a Hoi Poi Capsule and took out another capsule to create a boat. Lunch, Kuririn, Son Goku, and Turtle Hermit then left Turtle Island for a larger island that would be more suitable for training three pupils.
They soon arrived at a new island and Turtle Hermit opened up the capsule containing the Kame House. Goku used his Kinto Un to fly around the island and returned informing Turtle Hermit that other people lived on the island. Turtle Hermit said he was correct as there were 300 people living on the island. Launch decided to head inside the house and cook while Turtle Hermit, Kuririn, and Goku stayed outside. Turtle Hermit asked Kuririn if he had any previous training. Kuririn told Turtle Hermit that he had trained 8 years at Orinji Temple. Turtle Hermit was pleased and told the two trainees that he was going to evaluate their current ability by seeing how fast the boys could run in a 100 meter dash. Kuririn commented that he was fast enough to run in the Olympics.
Kuririn ran first and clocked in a time of 10.4 seconds. His personal best was 10.1 he said. Goku ran next, and although started very fast, had trouble with his shoes. He clocked in just over 11 seconds. Goku asked if he could run again with different shoes since his were torn. Turtle Hermit agreed and Goku ran again with new shoes. Goku was able to clock a time of 8.5 seconds. Turtle Hermit then handed Kuririn his stopwatch and said he would have a shot at it. He then ran in 5.6 seconds. Kuririn and Goku were stunned.
Turtle Hermit said he had not run in a long time, and asked Goku to go get him a beer. Goku did not know what that was, but Kuririn voluntered to get one from Kame House. Inside, Launch sneezed and chased Kuririn with a butcher knife. Turtle Hermit, hidden behind a bush with Goku, timed Kuririn running a 100 meters while being chased at 8.8 seconds. Launch then sneezed again and in doing so threw the knife into the air. The knife landed right in front of a frightened Kuririn.
Turtle Hermit told Goku and Kuririn that he would give the boys one more test before dinner. He picked up a stone and wrote his symbol on it, showing the boys the rock. Turtle Hermit then threw the stone into a valley of trees. He explained to the boys that the one who retrieved the stone would win and that the loser would not get dinner. If neither of them found the stone within 30 minutes, however, neither would get dinner. Goku then jumped off the cliff into the jungle below. He grabbed a branch on his way down, but it broke and he fell to the ground. He was able to stand back up and prepared to start looking for the stone. Kuririn wondered if he was even Human to survive the fall.
Kuririn looked for a detour to the jungle below and realized that he could never find the stone in time in such a large jungle. He thought of another way he could win. Kuririn picked up a stone and borrowed a signing pen from a lady. He wrote Turtle Hermit's symbol on the rock and went back to the Kame House. Meanwhile, Goku used his keen sense of smell to track the rock down. Soon after, Kuririn arrived at Kame House and showed Turtle Hermit the stone. Turtle Hermit examined the stone and threw it at Kuririn's head, telling him to find the real stone. Later on in the jungle, Kuririn beat up a Sabre Tiger that attacked him. He suddenly heard Goku’s voice .
Kuririn then asked if he could see the stone. Goku gave it to him, but Kuririn ran off with it. Goku chased him through the jungle. They then both crossed a bridge, but when Kuririn reached the other side first, he cut the ropes holding the bridge up, dropping Goku into the river below. Goku, however, was quick to get up and continue his pursuit of Kuririn. Kuririn proposed that they battle for the stone. Goku won the battle and told Kuririn to give him the stone. Kuririn threw a different stone and Goku chased it. Now that Kuririn had the real stone, he headed back to Kame House. At the Kame House, Turtle Hermit confirmed that Kuririn had found the right stone. At the dinner table, Kuririn and Turtle Hermit ate the food Lunch had prepared for them. Turtle Hermit asked Lunch what kind of Fish was in the stew and she replied that it was fugu pufferfish. Kuririn and Turtle Hermit soon felt ill as fugu pufferfish wrongly prepared was poisonous.
The next day, Goku wanted to train, but Turtle Hermit told him that training would start the next day since he and Kuririn still felt the effects of the fugu pufferfish.

Trivia
- In the scene where Turtle Hermit is watching the Aerobics Women, Arale Norimaki can be seen on the TV in one shot instead of the women.
- This episode shows that Turtle Hermit has incredible speed that even Goku couldn't match at the time.
- Kuririn, Turtle Hermit, and Lunch survive eating fugu pufferfish, which is one of the most deadly toxins known to Humans. Obviously, this is due to this being the Dragon World, not the real world.
