Synopsis
Heading southwest, Bulma, Son Goku, and Oolong were in a boat, Capsule 8, passing through a river. Bulma decided that Oolong and his shapeshifting ability could be very useful on their quest. Oolong then changed into a Fish and jumped out of the boat when he heard that the next place they were going to was Mt. Frypan. He said that a terrible person named Gyumao lived there. Goku jumped into the water but had no luck finding him. Bulma lured Oolong back into the boat with a pair of her panties (money in the Ocean Group dub). Back on the boat, Bulma handed Oolong a piece of "candy" to show that she was nice. The boat then ran out of gas and Oolong turned into a paddle so they could get to shore.
On shore, Bulma found out that her Hoi Poi Capsule case was missing and asked Oolong to search for them in the water. Oolong said there was too much water to search through and snuck off. Bulma made a "pee pee" sound which made Oolong have to use the bathroom. After Oolong returned, Bulma told him that the "candy" she gave him was really PP Candy – which would force someone to use the bathroom whenever they heard a "pee pee" sound. She said the effects lasted a month. Bulma had Oolong change into a motorbike, but when Bulma got on the motorbike she fell because Oolong said he did not get stronger when he changed shape. He added that it did not matter either way because he could only hold a shape for five minutes at a time.
They had to travel by foot through a desert in order to reach Mt. Frypan and Bulma eventually went crazy due to the heat, passing out in some shade. Far in the distance, a blue cat spied with a telescope and told a man that victims were present. The two rode on the Jet Momonga up to Goku and Oolong and the man introduced himself as Yamucha. He said he wanted their money and capsules. Oolong noticed the Cat as Puar because they both had gone to the Southern Transformation School, with Puar remembering Oolong as a bully.
Yamucha fought against Goku using his sword and Goku defended himself with his Nyoibou. Yamucha questioned Goku about where he had gotten the staff to which Goku said that he was the grandson of Son Gohan. Yamucha recognized the name – with Oolong also recognizing the name – and told Goku that he was not going to go easy on him now. He used the Rogafufu-ken, knocking Goku into several rocks. Oolong turned into a fly and tried to get away but Puar became a fly swatter and knocked Oolong out of his form.
Oolong was about to hand Yamucha an M-size capsule to save himself when Goku crawled of the rocks and yelled at Yamucha. Yamucha decided to to take down Goku with another Rogafufu-ken, but Goku countered with the Jan-ken. Yamucha seemed to have just gotten madder and rushed towards Goku when Bulma suddenly woke up and Yamucha spotted her. Yamucha turned red and fell over. He quickly stood up and sounded a retreat. Bulma had a quick glance of Yamucha and wondered who the cute guy was and thinking he must have been nice. Back at his hideout, Yamucha reminded Puar of his nervous reaction around women and said he would still get that capsule somehow.
