[edit] Outline

Kid Boo using the Planet Burst.

Kid Boo's first target is the Earth, which, in a psychotic episode, he completely annihilates in a single energy blast as soon as his transformation is complete. Son Gohan, Piccolo, Son Goten, and Trunks all die in the blast. This creates the first death for Son Gohan, Son Goten, and Trunks. Vegeta, Son Goku, Mr. Satan, Dende, and the puppy Bee are the only survivors. Kibit-Kaioshin saves them by using the instant transmission and they make it to The Sacred Kai Planet. Vegeta berates Son Goku for the needless deaths of their sons. However, Kid Boo reforms from the chaos of the remains of Earth and tracks them to Other World, on the planet of the Kai's, and engages in one last climactic battle with Son Goku and Vegeta. Son Goku starts off in the Super Saiyan form then Super Saiyan 2. He tries to conserve energy and actually holds up pretty well. Realizing a few minutes into the battle that Kid Boo is tougher than he looks, Son Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 3.

He then fights Kid Boo but can't defeat him due to Kid Boo's regeneration technique and perpetual strength. Son Goku launches a Kamehameha wave at Kid Boo, exhausting himself and not even finishing Kid Boo. Vegeta steps in, but is no match for the likes of Kid Boo. Just before he is killed, Son Goku resumes fighting at Super Saiyan 3. As they battle, Vegeta comes to accept that Son Goku is stronger than him. Son Goku curses, having wasted too much energy in the fight. Vegeta decides to step in, allowing the worn out Son Goku to rest and gather his energy for a final attack. Kid Boo engages in battle with Vegeta as a Super Saiyan 2. Kid Boo rejuvenates himself too many times for Vegeta's energy.

Vegeta attacks Kid Boo.

Vegeta does his best to give Son Goku the time he needs, but for some reason it's taking longer than expected. Eventually Vegeta falls, so Mr. Satan steps in and challenges Kid Boo, but Kid Boo finds himself unable to attack. He spits out something that turns out to be Good Majin Boo. Mr. Satan overcomes his cowardice to fight for his unconscious friend. When Good Majin Boowakes up, he saves Mr. Satan and begins fighting Kid Boo. Meanwhile, Vegeta tells Dende, Kibit-Kaioshin, and Elder Kai to travel to New Namuek where they summon Porunga, the Namuekian Dragon. Vegeta has them wish for the restoration of Earth and the resurrection of everyone killed since the morning of the Tenkaichi Tournament, except for the most evil. The Dragon complies and Vegeta then explains his plan to defeat Kid Boo: a Genki Dama made from the freely given energy of the people of Earth, transferred through Son Goku.

Good Boo fights Kid Boo.

He communicates to the entire planet via North Kaio, asking the people of Earth to give their energy to power the attack, but only their friends and family believe him. Meanwhile, Good Majin Boois defeated by Kid Boo. Vegeta, who just regained his life from Porunga, attempts to hold off Kid Boo again so that the Genki Dama can be completed. Son Goku asks the people of Earth to help but only a few people Son Goku helped in the past actually give up their energy. Things look hopeless until Mr. Satan proceeds to tell the people to give up their energy so that he can defeat Kid Boo. The Genki Dama is finished, but Kid Boo has defeated Vegeta who is now too weak to move. Kid Boo knows Son Goku won't fire the Genki Dama because it would destroy his friend, so he stands on top of Vegeta while continuing to blast Son Goku.

Oob and his new mentor, Son Goku fly off to his village in the DBZ finale.

Good Majin Boouses the last of his strength to knock Kid Boo over. He tells Mr. Satan to grab Vegeta. Kid Boo recovers and blasts Good Majin Boo. Son Goku throws the Genki Dama, but is exhausted. Kid Boo is able to stop the Genki Dama and push it back towards Son Goku. Vegeta asks Dende to make one last wish: to restore Son Goku's strength. The Dragon grants the wish and Son Goku feels renewed. Son Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan and pushes the Genki Dama back towards Kid Boo, overwhelming him. Kid Boo's body disintegrates into nothing and is destroyed. (Note: The direct-resulting steps in this Genki Dama sequence are brought back in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series of games, starting with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 as Son Goku's ultimate attack, the Super Genki Dama.)

Son Goku uses the Dragon Balls to wish for the people of Earth to forget about Majin Boo, so that the Good Majin Boocan exist without being feared. As Kid Boo disintegrates, Son Goku hopes that maybe someday he will come back as a good person and they can have a rematch then. Great King Yama hears Son Goku and decides to grant his request (unbeknownst to Son Goku who still has an idea this has happened when he sees Oob) . Vegeta finally feels unthreatened by Son Goku's ability to surpass him. He also feels welcome with his own family and his new found friends. Ten years later, Bulma and Vegeta have another child, Bra, Son Goten and Trunks have grown to young teenagers, and Son Gohan marries Videl and they have a child, Pan. At the Tenkaichi Tournament, the Z fighters meet a boy called Oob. This boy is the reincarnation of Kid Boo. Son Goku asks Majin Booto change the numbers so Son Goku would be matched with Oob. Son Goku and Oob begin to fight and it's clear that Oob has great potential. As they fight, Son Goku mocks Oob several times to see his true potential, which works. Son Goku cuts the match short by suggesting he train Oob. Son Goku asks Oob if after he is trained they can have a rematch. Oob agrees and Son Goku feels excited, with the challenge and with the chance to become stronger. This is the final episode, ending the journey of Son Goku and his friends.
