Yamucha attacking the Mobile Home.

One week had passed since Son Goku left his home. Oolong used his only Hoi Poi Capsule, a double-decker Mobile Home, for the group as shelter. Bulma took a shower, grumbling about the condition of the dirty place as Goku explained to Oolong what the Dragon Balls were all about. Meanwhile, outside the mobile home, Pilaf had sent Shuu and Mai once again to retrieve the Dragon Balls. Shu planned to set a time bomb under the vehicle but Mai tapped his shoulder and Shu put the sticky side of the time bomb on his hand by accident. They both ran away.

Yamucha and Puar were sitting on the opposite side, overhearing Goku's conversation about the Dragon Balls. His new plan was to get the Dragon Balls and make a wish not to be nervous around women. Puar asked about power and money, but Yamucha told Puar that after almost two years of hanging around him that Puar should know Yamucha better than that. They crept around to enter from behind, but Yamucha accidentally glimpsed Bulma in the shower nude through the window. He was momentarily stunned as he was nervous just being near women let alone women in showers. Bulma did not see what had happened and got out of the shower, demanding some clothing from Oolong. Oolong told her he did not have anything for her to wear, but would wash her clothes for the next day. Oolong handed Goku and Bulma some juice. Goku did not like the taste, but Oolong told him it would help his strength. Suddenly tired, she told them that she was going to sleep upstairs in the bedroom and that they were to sleep downstairs. Goku suddenly fell asleep and Bulma was fast asleep within seconds upstairs. Oolong had put tranquilizers(or Sleepy Grass) in their drinks. Oolong walked upstairs to find Bulma, since she would be fast asleep, but heard a noise somewhere. It was Yamucha and Puar entering the door. Puar transformed into a copy of Goku and was to lure Oolong and Bulma outside. Oolong peeked downstairs and saw that Goku was awake somehow and coming upstairs. He thought that if Goku found him there, he would tell Bulma that Oolong had been in the room trying to do something to Bulma. Oolong covered Bulma fully with the blanket and turned into a copy of Bulma, yet was the same size and shape as before. Puar/Goku walked in and asked Oolong/Bulma where Oolong had gone. Oolong/Bulma said he had gone for a walk. Puar/Goku asked Oolong/Bulma to come outside in order to talk about something important. As they walked out of the Mobile Home, Yamucha thought Bulma looked fatter than before. With them now out, Yamucha snuck upstairs to steal the Dragon Balls. After walking for a bit, Puar/Goku turned back into Puar. Oolong/Bulma was shocked and turned back into Oolong. This shocked Puar. Back at the Mobile Home, Yamucha mistook Bulma's breasts under the blanket for the Dragon Balls, and took the covers off her to steal them. Puar realized that Bulma was still back in the Mobile Home and at that moment heard a loud yell from Yamucha. Puar ran back, with Oolong chasing behind, and found Yamucha catatonic. Puar led Yamucha away before Oolong could catch them.

The next morning, Shu and Mai finally had the time bomb reset and placed it under the Mobile Home. Bulma woke up and asked for her clean clothes with Oolong telling her he had no time to clean her clothes due to another visit from Yamucha and Puar. He then told her he did have one outfit, and it turned out to be a bunny girl outfit. Oolong was driving with the lack of sleep when Goku noticed a vehicle driving beside them. It was Yamucha and Puar, and they wanted the Dragon Balls once again. With Puar driving, Yamucha fired an RPG at the Mobile Home disabling it. With Bulma knocked out from the attack, Goku and Oolong must face Yamucha and Puar. Yamucha attacked Goku but Goku told him that during the last fight he had been starving and now he was full of food. Goku knocked one of Yamucha's teeth out and, shocked that his good looks were damaged, he retreated with Puar. As Oolong, Goku, and Bulma – on Goku's back – traveled by foot, Yamucha told Puar that they would wait until Goku and the others had all seven Dragon Balls before trying to attempt another theft. Shu and Mai stood by the now empty, damaged Mobile Home as they had heard an explosion and thought their time bomb had gone off. Shu was not so sure because it was too early for the time bomb to had gone off. Yamucha suddenly drove back to Goku and the others and said they were sorry about what had happened earlier and threw a capsule at them. The capsule turned into a car, and Yamucha drove off again. Oolong was suspicious about the circumstances, but Goku thought Yamucha might have been a good guy after all they continued their journey. Meanwhile, Yamucha and Puar look at a radar device that is tracking the car they had given to Goku's group. Suddenly an explosion goes off and Shu and Mai are standing in the debris of the now fully destroyed Mobile Home.

Differences from the manga

  • In the scene where Bulma is in the shower, her nipples are clearly visible in the manga but the anime has a glare from the window covering them and the boobs on her breast were only shown.

Filler

  • Mai and Shuu hide outside the Mobile Home and try to plant a time bomb under it, but Shuu accidently gets it stuck to his hand. They come back the next morning and successfully plant it. After the Mobile Home is disabled by Yamucha, Mai, and Shuu think that the bomb went off early and go inside where it blows up with them in it.
  • Before Yamucha pulled off the blanket to reveal the "Dragon Balls", which were actually Bulma's breasts, he squeezed one of them and commented on how soft they were.

Edits

Visual edits

Original (left) Edited (right)
  • In the Ocean Group dub, the sequence with Bulma in the shower is shortened and a risque shot of Yamucha seeing Bulma walking around naked is replaced with a tamer silhouette.
  • When a nude Bulma looks out the camper window, there is a glare covering her breasts. A common misconception is that this glare is added for the edited dub. The glare is originally there, but was thickened to cover her entire cleavage.
  • Bulma is digitally covered up in the early dub with the Dragon Balls in one scene and with more covers in another. This is also done to disguise the original plot of Oolong attempting to molest Bulma in her sleep.

Scene removals

  • The part where Yamucha squeezes Bulma's breast as well as the part where Bulma is actually shown naked when Yamucha removes the blanket were removed from the Ocean Group dub and Toonami broadcast.

Dialogue changes

  • In the Japanese dub, Bulma says that there better not be any peepholes when she looks inside the Mobile Home's bathroom. In the dubbed version, she mentions the presence of fungus.

Inconsistencies

  • Bulma complains that Oolong's bathtub is too small, yet it looks the same size as the one she has in her Capsule House. She also says it has fungus in it when it is clearly not visible.

Trivia

  • This episode shows that Oolong and Pu-erh are initially incapable of transforming into other characters properly. A few episodes later, however, Pu-erh transforms into a perfect copy of Usagi Ninjinka and Oolong transforms into a perfect copy of Bulma.

"Goku tells Oolong about the Dragon Balls, which Yamcha and Puar overhear. That night Oolong drugs Goku and Bulma, planning to steal the Dragon Balls, but his plan is incidentally thwarted by Yamcha and Puar, who are also planning to steal the Dragon Balls. The next morning, Yamcha shows up with a rocket launcher and destroys their vehicle. Goku beats him in a fight, so later, they show up with a car for them to use, showing no hard feelings, but Yamcha secretly planted a homing device on the car to track them. Meanwhile, Mai and Shu have been trying to steal the balls for Pilaf, but the misuse of their bomb foiled their own plot." cannot be used as a page name in this wiki.
