Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might
The Crusher Tullece Corps appeared in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might. They were originally servants of Freeza according to the Ocean Group dub (when exactly they left Freeza's Force or how they managed to do so without facing certain death is unknown, although it is likely that they did so after discovering the Shinseiju). The group detected that Planet Earth had not been destroyed by Son Goku when he was sent there as a baby, and therefore decided to plant the Seed of the Shinseiju on the vibrant world. The Shinseiju was a tree that sucked the life of the planet on which it was planted to grow the Fruit of the Shinseiju and eventually left it a desert. Goku, Kuririn, Yamucha, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu attempted to destroy the Shinseiju, but unsuccessful. It was not long before they were confronted by the Crusher Tullece Corps. Their leader, Tullece, watched the encounter from inside his spaceship.
Son Gohan arrived and joined the battle after he had rescued Chaozu from Raisin and was personally invited by Tullece to join his group. Gohan refused and was saved in time thanks to the arrival of Piccolo. Using a Power Ball, Tullece forced Gohan to transform into a Great Ape and set him against Goku, who eventually managed to cut his son's tail off and restore him to normal. The Crusher Tullece Corps then attacked Goku, who retaliated and killed them all when he used the Kaio-ken. A showdown ensued between Goku and Tullece, and Goku had the upper hand until Tullece pushed his power further by eating a Fruit of the Shinseiju. Goku slowly recovered while Tullece was distracted by the rest of the Z Warriors and decided to use the Genki Dama.
Goku was forced to use the stolen energy inside the Shinseiju itself because he could not gather energy from living beings. He eventually created the Genki Dama and fired it straight at Tullece, who was carried up the trunk of the Shinseiju and destroyed along with the tree when the Genki Dama exploded.
