Kibit
From Dragon Ball Encyclopedia, the ''Dragon Ball'' wiki
"Your effort is in vain. If the Supreme Kai was unable to extract the sword, how can a simple mortal like yourself ever succeed?"
— Kibit in "The Z Sword"
Kibit (キビト, Kibito; FUNimation "Kibito", Viz "Kibito") is the attendant of East Kaioshin.
His name can be translated as "demon person".[citation needed]
Kibit's Japanese name is a pun on the word Tsukibito, or Attendant in English.
Biography
Kibito had the power of Healing, which helped the Z Warriors in many situations. He also knew Instantaneous Movement, a technique similar to Son Goku's Instant Transmission. East Kaioshin and Kibit both entered the Tenkaichi Tournament. He was set to fight against Son Gohan in the fourth match of the first round. Kibito told Gohan to turn into a Super Saiyan, but Gohan instead transformed into a Super Saiyan 2. Just then, Yamu and Spopovich jumped into the arena and stole Gohan's energy. Kibito healed Gohan and they left with East Kaioshin and the others to follow Yamu and Spopovich.
Kibito was later killed by Dabura, but brought back by using the Dragon Balls. Eventually, he accidentally and permanently fused with East Kaioshin to create Kibit-Kaioshin.
Kibito was very tall as Gohan was heard calling him "big guy". He also knew Magic Materialism as seen when he used it to create a uniform for Gohan that was similar to Goku's uniform.
Video games
Although Kibito has not appeared as a playable character in the video games, he appears as a non-playable character in Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury. He also appears as a Potara Earrings Fusion with East Kaioshin in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. In Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai: Another Road, Future Kibit from Future Trunks' timeline participated in the Tenkaichi Tournament and asked Trunks to transform into a Super Saiyan as he did with Gohan in the main timeline. Kibito later died when taking the damage of Dabura's attack to save Trunks.
Techniques
Power
It is never made clear in the manga or the anime how powerful Kibito really is, but Daizenshū 7's bio for him states that "...his battle power is considerably high, enough to give Gohan a difficult fight as long as he wasn't a Super Saiyan".[1]

Trivia
- Kibito is one of only four known characters who have healing powers, the others being Dende, Majin Boo, and Shen Long.
- Technically speaking, Kibito wins the fight with Gohan in the tournament because when the Z Warriors are following Yamu and Spopovich and land next to Babidi's Spaceship, Gohan touches down on the ground before Kibito does, well outside of the ring. This does not matter, however, since everyone who takes off (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Kuririn, Piccolo, East Kaioshin, Kibit, Yamu, and Spopovich) are eventually disqualified when the Battle Royal between Mister Satan, Mighty Mask (a.k.a. Kid Trunks and Son Goten), Artificial Human No. 18, Killa, and Jewel is announced.
- Kibito does a little glass eye trick after grabbing his numbered ball from the draw box in "Who Will Fight Who?". This seems like an animation goof more than something intentional.
- Kibito shares many physical features with Dabura, such as being tall, muscular, and having a pinkish skin tone
